Langsat are the trees from the Mahogany Family, which is scientifically known as Lansium parasiticum. Langsat’s tree grow under the tropical humid environments and is a long erect plant. It begins to yield after 4 years of plantation and it continues to produce fruits for over 100 years.
It is plant that bears small, orb shaped, edible fruits and these fruits resemblance potato from their outer appearance and inside it has a white flesh, which contains inedible bitter seeds.
