Banana Sapota shapes like a banana. They are long-oval shaped, less seeded with a sweet mellow flesh of excellent quality and mild flavour. When fully ripe the inside color varies and the pulp is very sweet and tasty. The pulp is sweet and melting. It Has dark green, broad and thick leaves, spreading branches.
Sapota, popularly known in India as Chikoo. In India, it is cultivated for fruits that are liked all over the country. The skin is thin, rusty brown somewhat scurfy looking like Irish potato, and the pulp soft, melting, crumbling with a sandy or granular texture with 1-5 hard, black seeds. The tree can grow to a height of 30 meters high. A good reason to grow a Chiku tree is its excellent source of nutrition within the fruit, which is composed of fructose and sucrose and is rich in calories.
